Host Cell Proteins (HCPs) might have impact either on pharmaceutical stability or on clinical trial, since they could have been responsible for adverse reactions leading to the termination of clinical trials. To avoid clinical validation failure, pharmaceutical and biotech companies must focus on these HCPs impurities for preclinical and clinical batches at each biomanufacturing step.
In this example, we compared different batches of therapeutic protein production in order to monitor the bioproduction. Each HCP were screened for identification and quantification with our solution HCP Profiler.
Our 2D plot visualization (below) allows comparing the HCPs profiles. Each spot correspond to a protein and the size circle gives the quantity. With this study, our customers get a detailed list of the HCPs that ensure a good monitoring of the process. The quality control included in the HCP Profiler solution will permit to monitor the batches through time and ensure a high consistency. Furthermore, the software brings more consistency and allows a clear data visualization.
